Paul and Jan Crouch, of Trinity Broadcasting Company, held meetings in Haiti. In one church they didn’t want to take an offering because the people were very poor. The pastor refused because he didn’t want to rob the people of a blessing. As the offering was taken they noticed one woman did not have any money to give. The most precious thing she had with her was her well worn Bible. She quietly opened it up and tore out a page, which she put in the offering. At the close of the service Jan ran to the car and brought in a box of Bibles to give to the woman, in her own language. The lady had given a page of her best possession, but was given a box of Bibles, as her harvest
Prayer Thought
God honored her faith, and enabled her to give many Bibles away. Don’t copy her unless the Lord directs you, otherwise all you will have is a torn Bible. Sow in faith - reap a blessing!
