Malachi 3:10 “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”
After reading Malachi 3:7-10, you mayhave felt that you had to perform a duty,and so gave money to the church because you felt it was an obligation.The One who is really obligated is God. HeobligatesHimselfto giving you a harvest, meeting your needs as wellas stopping the things that destroy your possessions.When you see that giving to the Lord is aprivilege, because of the benefits, you will become a cheerful giver. Many churches are under tremendous financial pressure, because blessings from the Lord are being withheld. Realize that your personal actions will affect the rest of the body as well.
Prayer Thought
After all He’s done for you - obedience is a small price to pay. True trust, true faith drops its letter in the post box and lets go. Distrust holds on to the corner of it, and wonders that the answer never comes.
